The Radiodetection RD1500 Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a professional underground utility locating system designed to detect both metallic and non-metallic buried utilities that traditional electromagnetic (EM) locators cannot always identify.

Call 832-727-9353 or email Sales@TitanToolsDirect.com for current pricing, product availability, and a customized quotation.

Overview

The Radiodetection RD1500 is an advanced Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) system engineered to locate and map underground infrastructure with exceptional confidence. Using high-frequency radio waves, the RD1500 produces real-time subsurface images that help contractors, utility companies, municipalities, engineers, and private locating firms identify buried utilities before excavation begins.

Unlike conventional electromagnetic locators that depend on conductive materials or tracer wires, the RD1500 detects both conductive and non-conductive underground objects, making it ideal for locating PVC water lines, HDPE gas mains, asbestos cement pipe, concrete structures, underground storage tanks, septic systems, drainage tiles, vaults, and other difficult-to-locate infrastructure.

Building upon the proven capabilities of the RD1100 platform, the RD1500 introduces Grid Scan, Map View, SplitView, GPS compatibility, advanced data export capabilities, and improved mapping workflows for professional underground utility investigations.

Why Choose Ground Penetrating Radar?

Traditional electromagnetic utility locators are excellent for locating conductive utilities such as energized electrical lines, tracer-wire equipped plastic pipe, and metallic pipelines.

However, many underground assets cannot be accurately located using electromagnetic technology alone.

The RD1500 complements traditional utility locating by providing a complete underground picture.

Ground Penetrating Radar can detect:

  • PVC Water Pipe
  • HDPE Pipe
  • Asbestos Cement Pipe
  • Non-Metallic Gas Lines
  • Underground Storage Tanks
  • Concrete Structures
  • Septic Systems
  • Drainage Tile
  • Utility Vaults
  • Buried Foundations
  • Buried Manholes
  • Unknown Underground Objects
