The helical precision-cut gears are hardened and ground, ensuring smooth and quiet power for fine finishing as well as maximum power for roughing cuts. The main spindle is made of high alloy steel and mounted in precision taper roller bearings, and the universal gearbox delivers a broad range of feed and thread selections for both inch and metric threads. The wide bed ways are made of stabilized cast iron, ground and hardened for durability. The control panel is user-friendly, and each machine is built and inspected to the DIN 8606 toolmakers precision lathe standard to ensure consistent performance and accuracy. These all-purpose lathes are ideal for turning applications requiring heavy metal removal or fine tolerance finishing and are commonly used in tool rooms, die and mold shops, fabrication shops, and maintenance departments.
